Job Description & Requirements
- Drivers License preferred
- Minimum 3 years Experience with Commercial Low slope roofing (especially Modified Bitumen, Fluid Applied Coating Systems)
- A successful candidate will be a self motivated individual with the ability to follow directions, learn quickly and improve daily with the goal of developing the skills to continue their career path to a Roofer and Foreman.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs regularly
- Sheet metal experience a plus
- Essential Functions may include
- Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in the installation and repair of most commercial roof systems
- Follow specific manufacturer roof details and installation requirements as directed by project managers, superintendents and foreman.
- Ability to install Tapered insulation using provided plans.
- General knowledge of rough carpentry and the joining and fastening of wood and other construction materials
- Knowledge of machines and tools used in the roofing industry to include Hand Tools (hammers, pry bars, spades, chalk boxes, utility knives, nail guns etc.) Hand Torches, asphalt mops, heat welding guns, kettles, enforcers, roof warriors, generators etc.
- Daily and continuous clean up of job site
- Employ the assistance of an apprentice or laborer in daily roof replacement tasks
- Working outside in hot and cold conditions
- Working at heights
- Ability and willingness to follow all jobsite rules and safety regulations.

- Clean background as position is dependent on ability to obtain a pass for a Federal Military Installation.
